G'Day...

-2°/4°C today, clear whilst hazed skies showing various shades from blue to a pinkish hue with the low, raising sun barely above the horizon...
Fields, grassland, bushes, trees... pretty much every surface covered with a layer of powdered sugar...
Significant number of drivers, ignorant to de-ice their windows, dazzled by the low sun, performing bizarre, irrational maneuvers... be wary out there...

Clear skies throughout the rest of the day, but the temps won't raise...

Home and office caffeinated I'm lingering at the desk... :coffee:

GF has to attend another funeral today... another remote family member of hers has passed... the impacts are getting closer and closer...

Last night I had to suffer through the questionable experience of driving behind a VW ID.Buzz... :cautious:
Its LED taillights are already way brighter then regular 21W brake lights, but once that thing actually breaks/recuperates/whatever... its like getting flash-banged... pfffff... o_O
I fail to understand how such can be legally homologated throughout Europe, that there is just no DMV engineer putting a stop on this nonsense... :(

anyhoo... enjoy your week divider...

Good morning. Thanks for the coffee, Martin. I’ve discovered that coffee extends the life expectancy of people around me.

Dang, I feel sorry for the both of you. It’s 64, after a slightly rainy night. Cloudy and 72 for the rest of the day.

How did it get to be Wednesday? Did we skip Tuesday, because I sure did, at least in terms of getting anything done.

John

Why do I chose this awful time to have a meeting with friends for breakfast? Not you guys, but 2 others.
I reckon because we all have to go to work after. *sigh*
Thanks for the 'spresso, Martin.
I have to leave already to be on time, but not before my first cup.
More coffee to be had at the dinner.
Ciao.
Then, chow in a few minutes.

Good morning and thanks for the coffee, Martin.

It's 24 and partly cloudy this morning, becoming sunny as the temperature rises to 45.

Yesterday's track day went off well, and we finished a bit early.
Dinner was leftovers, since Brenda went bowling .

Today, I'll head to the gym, and stop by our local tire center on the way home. I've got a slow leak in one tire.
I'll do random stuff, later.

Enjoy the day ,
Steve

Good morning everyone

Thanks for the early coffee, Martin. Mind hamsters kept me awake from about 0100 to around 0430 but I didn't get around to making coffee, so thanks for covering for me.

My first thought when I read that was ...

I’ve discovered that coffee extends the life expectancy of people around me.

but I see that John had the same thought, and got there first.

It's 41°F in Rockville, and wet after evening / overnight rain showers. Mostly cloudy and a high of 47 are expected.

I'll blow the (now soggy) leaves from the front yard out to the curb, since this is the week the City's leaf collection trucks swing through my neighborhood. It's a little breezy in the treetops but nothing like what we had over the weekend and on Monday, so I shouldn't have too much trouble other than that the wet leaves will be less responsive to the blower.

Lunch today with my uke group leader, to get further details on what's involved in organizing the thing before I agree to take over, then my monthly single malt appreciation society meeting at the neighbor's place. I have a number of unopened bottles, of varieties I've not previously sampled. We won't do them all tonight; in fact I'll only bring one bottle, saving the others for some other time.

Stay safe and well everyone and tell your dear ones you love them. Do it today, NOW, for tomorrow may be too late.

Late update as I'm already in office, not that anyone cares other than I am still alive, as well as the other around me thanks to you, Martin.

Been a few days, nothing important. Working more on moving my home office into a different room, mostly cleaning and fixing stuff, plus plotting where to position all my stuff: desk, TV, computers, router, etc.

The wife's car runs but continues to dole out random noises and shakes which she uses to pester/panic text me. Likely broke a belt in one tire when she hit the curb, but need to have it looked at. And to top it off, her Bluetooth doesn't work. Make that next cup a double shot, please!

Gotta git goin', so take care y'all!

Good Morning, Thanks Martin for coffee and advice on how to handle Caffeine withdrawal. That's something I will never attempt to do again, quit drinking coffee, gave me a headache for 3 weeks. Mix of Clear Sky and Clouds to the south,a bit chilly at 2 C/35 F high of 10 C/50 F. Waiting for iPhone to email pictures to myself so I can attach here, I will be back soon, G

Morning all! It was more like Gerard's weather at home but as I rode south into Victoria it got progressively gloomier. Grey and overcast in the City. Currently 5C with a predicted high of 8C.

On the upside I managed to beat the bulk of the ferry traffic heading south from the 7:30 landing. I'll take wins where I find them.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Morning Martin & All from another cloudy/wet day in Southern Utah!

Currently it is 43F, up from 37F and heading for a high of 47F. No breeze at this time, we received 0.03" of rain since midnight. At this rate we'll be behind in needed rainfall by the end of the month! Later this afternoon, more threats of rain and the winds will pick up from the SSW @ 8 to 10mph.

Yesterday, Chris and I made a run to WallyWorld, and then had a fish & chips, before heading home. I then attempted to clean up my office, knowing that, with my Northern Utah son & family will be here next week for Thanksgiving, someone will probably use this room for the sleeping in. I'll do a little more today in here.

Boiled eggs, bacon, toast & OJ to start the morning. Pepsi(s) will be had, later.

Anyone :bl13:, have a great day on the roads! :hat3:
