Good morning!
Another cup of Friele Frokostkaffe is ready, enjoy!

3˚c/37f, overcast, showers, wind from south15mph increasing to 40mph later.

A boat checkup later, and some grocery shopping.

The war against mice has now moved the battlefield to the garage.
Stu vs mice 3-0.

Have a good and critterfree one!

This morning someone just asked me if I was “ready for Christmas.”...
It is the 26th of November. I'm not even ready for this afternoon... :coffee:

G'Day...
I've to be quick before the connection fails again... this site is acting up since yesterday... :coffee:

-1°/4°C, overcast, gusty winds in the morning, warnings about freezing rain and sleet are out...

Me Néstle caffeinated as usual... :coffee:

Office, dull, moody clients, me painstakingly drew VRF/HVAC piping schemata into a construction plan sent by named client...
He promptly complains that this is a wrong/outdated plan... well, you were the one sending it to us, Mister Architect... doh...
So all over again... another hour wasted... besides the 20 minutes he blocked me on the phone yapping... pfffff...

My "SUN-tester" is inbound... checking oil pressure and ign timing 3 times a day... :cautious:
as hectically demanded by that PYT doc... despite that absolute flawless ECG/EKG printout... pfffff...
That forced division of society, old vs young, 'academics' vs 'proletariat' unveils noticeable in those institutions...

GF moving around quicker every day, progressing well...

Enjoy the middle of the week, we're halfway there!

Thanks Stu!

Morning all. A rainy drive to work at 4C in the pre-dawn darkness here. Should stay rainy but pop up to 8C later on.

The roofers finished the top section of the roof yesterday before the rain started. Still have the 2 lower roof sections and the basement porch to do, but that won't be a today thing due to the rain. The plus part is the Kanuckian Dulars stay in my pocket an extra day or so as a result.

Hope everyone has a great day and becomes indispensably wealthy.

Hugs,

Obo.

Good morning, and thanks for the coffee start, Stu.

It's cloudy and 52 this morning after last night's rain, rising to 57, later.
We'll have more rain, tonight.

Yesterday's visit to the tire shop for the slow leak ended up with me buying 2 new tires. I couldn't find anything in the tread when I looked, but that's because the nail was in the sidewall. They replaced my rotting spare with the other, good, tire.
Along the way, we went to the wearhouse store and stocked up on supplies.

Today, I'll maybe amble over to the gym, dog walk, or re-arange the spare room.

Enjoy the day,
Steve

G'morning, all, and thanks for the coffee, Stu. Nice rainbow!

There are no such lovely phenomena to look at here today...it's dark, gloomy and wet. Currently 2°C/36°F with a feels-like just below freezing, going to a high of 5°C/41°F with rain all day. Sigh. This is exactly why people hate November so much around here!

Ah, well, never mind. Everybody have a great day anyway, stay safe and go safely.

Patty

Maybe I can't pronounce it, but I see "free", so it's all good. Thanks, Stu!
And love the rainbow!

That happened to me at home, before I could post this morning. It was all good as I caught up on my new posts from the overnight, but then it went wonky and I couldn't ramble.
Maybe that was intentional, and really not such a bad plan...

But here I am, only it's office time so I'll have to spare you whatever random thoughts I may have been able to muster. And as usual, if I was going to say anything specifically, I don't remember what that was.

So lucky you!

Morning Stu & All from sunny, Southern Utah!

Currently @ 9:30Am it is 35F, up from 21F and heading for 55F. No breeze yet, but later the winds will be out of the N @ 6 to 7mph.

Chris & I went and bought me a new suit and a sport jacket. So I've retired my dad's old sport jacket that I've been wearing for the last 30 years. I don't think they recognize me at church on Sunday. :sneaky: Besides that, we went to the Cedar City Temple, being the first time for me.

Today, my son & family, from Northern Utah will be coming down for a few days. So Chris is trying to get everything ready for tomorrow, including, waking me up at 3:30 this morning to move the turkey from the ice chest to the fridge.

We'll be eating soon. She has bananas that need to be eaten, so I guess we'll have cold cereal. Pepsi(s) for later.

Anyone :bl13:, have a great day on the roads! :hat3:

Morning all! It's a mixed bag weather wise, overcast with the odd patch of blue sky peeking through. 6C now, 8C later.

Went for a swim this morning for the first time in a couple weeks. Took it easy and my neck seemed to tolerate it well. Good thing it was a recovery week at practice so the workout wasn't overly punishing. Paramedics were not required.

The ST rider that goes by my building every morning just rode by again. We've crossed paths once or twice when I've been later to work and nodded appreciatively at each other and our respective good taste in motorcycles. I'll have to track him down at some point for a chin wag. Some might call it stalking, I prefer the term social engagement outreach.

Hope everyone has a great day and may your reach exceed your grasp....cause if it doesn't, the police get involved and.....never mind.......

Good morning, well nearly afternoon. Thanks for the coffee, Stu.

The warm weather is on its way out. Currently 49 and dropping. After a couple of weeks of 40/70, were now looking at 10 days of 20’s for the lows and mid 30’s for the highs, but no precip. Ok, it’s getting cold enough to start complaining.

The neighbors are out of town for the weekend, so I’m tending their chickens. Good thing, cause I was almost out of eggs from their last trip. I’ll most likely have 4 dozen by Sunday, when they return.

Good Morning Y'all, thanks Stu,both for Rainbow and coffee. Done the usual chores, and then went to grocery store. Same weather as Weaselinsuit, phone says dry for a while. Might go for a ride, installed Tall windshield on Lady a day or two ago, hopefully it is a little quieter than the OEM shield. Have a good one, G

Well, today is Dec 2nd, and now the much loved ST site is back - nice! Since this thread is all about Nov 26, I must announce what I did on that day. The '18 Goldwing and the "18 Yamaha Venture got loaded up, the Wing in the van and the Venture on the trailer, and off we went to a dealer in Sherbrooke, where an exchange was made. I came home with a new '24 Indian Roadmaster, black with lots of chrome! Just 1 km on the odometer, and heavily discounted. Yes, I'm kinda excited, lol....
