Well it’s that time of year again in the NE US. At least I can still wear the gear.

Put mine away last week. Next day it snowed. Now, its perfect riding weather.

At least you can rake them. Here it seems that the leaves fall off of the trees later and later every year. This year I was raking leaves around snow piles and using a leaf blower to blow them off of the snow so that I could rake them up. The first time that I used my snowblower I was blowing as many leaves as I was snow. Now that we have snow that will stay on the ground until spring all of the leaves that fell really late are buried under the snow, which makes one hell of a mess to clean up in the spring when everything thaws.

Got a dusting on the roads down here in SoMD and about an inch on the deck. I plowed some tracks on the driveway for the wife to pull up into the garage. Don't think I'll bother with much more & see what the sun can melt away before I go throwing salt around.

We got 4" of snow on Dec 2nd, 1 1/2" on the 12th, and 5 inches from noon the 13th to 10 am this morning the 14th .... and it's 3 degrees F out.

I got out my journals from 2024 and 2023

In Dec '24 I rode 31 of 31 days 1474 miles.

In Dec of '23 I rode 29 of 31 days (losing 2 days to rain) 1291 miles

So far this month 9 days 358 miles ..and it will probably be 3 or 4 days for this this snow to be gone so I can get out. It's not melting much at 3 degrees lol

No SNOW in December the last 2 years....this year we've been buried. Global Warming? HA! Thanks Al Gore!

Not used to this stupid snow and cold in Dec. This is February weather!

No snow but it's 17° down here in Oklahoma today. It's supposed to be back in the 60's by next weekend though.

On a bright note, as I type this at 11 AM, it is up to 13 degrees lol

Winter sucks for riding. So, ill b watching vids, ordering farkles and planning routs ill fail to follow next year.
