Warning: Contains Worms (1 can) Tell me about these bikes

Update: I bought a 25 NT1100 Saturday. They're installing the bags this week and I pick it when done. After seeing the Kawasaki and and Suzuki in person, I couldn't see my 6'4" body on them for any length of time. Surprisingly, I didn't realize what a relief it would be to be back in the Honda ecosystem. I'm doing pretty well, but I realize now, I don't have the bank account for stress-free BMW ownership.
Congratulations! I'm surprised your dealer has access to inventory of saddlebags and the mounts but good for you!

Now go over to NT-Owners.Org. also managed by Mellow. The more I ride my NT the more I find I might have to look into an after market seat. The DCT will take a few rides to get use to and the Rider-Bike interface is a learning curve.
If he does go to NT-O there will be an increase from 3 to 4 NT1100 owners on that forum.

Keep them coming
That is one place where more is better.
As much as I dislike the chaos of Facebook post formatting, the NT1100 groups on Facebook are much more informative and real time. ST-O has built up a following over 20+ years just as NT-O has except over there it’s clustered around the Honda NT700V, a bike that was orphaned and never very popular in the US unlike the ST11 and 13.

True, but one has to start someplace. Just like this Forum started with one ST1300 member then grew over the years. The ST-riders list started with one ST1100 member and then grew over the years.

Yes but Honda was selling hundreds then thousands of STs a year in the ascendant years of web based forums. I’m all for privately owned archived searchable forums but I think that ship had sailed. I hope I’m wrong.
