Your Favorite Motorcycle song while you ride?

Neverland - Marillion. Great cruising song. It really builds and Rothery’s mournful riffs hit just right. 12 minutes of pure heavenly bliss.

I don’t have any music system in my helmet or on my bike, but I imagine— just through my own memory —certain songs that seem appropriate to the road or traffic conditions or the scenery that I’m looking at.

When I see some nice scenery out in the country, it’s often John Denver’s
“Take me home, country roads.”

When I start riding before dawn, and then I see the sun come up, I replay, in my head, Cat Stevens’ “Morning has Broken.”

When I’m approaching a hotel or motel where I will be staying for the night, my mind starts playing The Eagles hit “Hotel California.”
Like songs by Traffic in traffic :rofl1:

My absolute favourite riding song is “End of the Line” by the Travelling Wilburys. Check it out - it’s perfect for riders of “a certain age” - like most of us.

…and while I’m at it, please allow me to add my favourite biker video (it’s short). This is called “The Dream Rangers” and it is actually a commercial for a bank in Taiwan. It is based on 5 or 6 real people who rode around that island nation at an elderly age. While I don’t speak Mandarin (there are subtitles), the message resonates all the way through my soul. Frankly, when I am feeling low, I watch this little video, and I feel better. Check it out!

Come Out and Play by Offspring would run through my head when racing. "Come out and play" and "Got to keep 'em separated" were key snippets when strafing corners in a pack.

“Don’t Fence Me In” — A 1930’s song written by Cole Porter for a musical which was never fully produced and released. Gene Autry recorded this song in the 1930s or ‘40’s but it isn’t his version that I remember hearing.
It was somebody else’s cover.

It’s a great song to hum a few lines of when you’re looking at wide open views, seeing miles of the country at a time.
