if anyone is thinking about doing a instrument cluster upgrade like the LEDs or fix the faded display, you could get this to see how hard it is to do before ripping open your own cluster and risk messing up your original one.
I am interested, would $100 get it done? I live in FtWorth tx so shipping may be expensive. Is the display on yours still good, ie no sun burst?

The display in the photo has the HISS feature.
Not sure if it’s compatible with a standard ST1300.

No North American model ST1300's came with HISS.
The cluster itself is the same. The light in the cluster is just an indicator light. All of the HISS systems are controlled by electronics located elsewhere. The only difference that I can think of is that one of the cluster wiring connectors might be different to accommodate the extra wiring needed for the HISS light but I don't know.
