The only reason we tolerate mornings...
because coffee exists... :coffee:

G'Day...

6°/17°C, overcast, gray, dim, gusty winds... 😶‍🌫️

quite a contrast to yesterday's clear sunny conditions...
while I'm sipping my second load of Nespresso alike... ☕

gonna be unsupervised most of the day, as ze GF left to aid daughter #2 in decluttering their place,
her hubby seems pretty useless when it comes to matters of real life... 🤔
(I recall my emergency deployment over water leakage there... to find all connections of the
kitchen sink siphon completely loose... so every time the dishwasher pumped out... yeah... :cautious: )

still procrastinating, started ze GF's dishwasher, once it has finished I'm going to pack up and drive to my place,
intend reviving my '00 ST and put her back into service... 😎
we're going to see 8/9°C night and morning temps during the next week, ideal for commuting :dr11:

Enjoy your Sunday! 😎

Good morning everyone

Thanks for the coffee, Martin. While you're busy writing the rest of the story, I'll jump in to say it's 45°F and clear in Rockville, where it'll be mostly sunny with a high around 72 later today.

We're getting together with friends for a late lunch, ahead of the four of us attending a concert by The Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain at our local performing arts center. It should be a good show.

My taxes are 98-99 percent complete; all I need now is one final number from Mrs. Fun and I can file. Rather to my surprise we'll still get a Federal refund, but totally not to my surprise we're paying a small fortune to the state. Maryland has earned its reputation as a high tax place to live.

Stay safe and well everyone and tell your dear ones you love them. Do it today, NOW, for tomorrow may be too late.

We now return you to Martin's evolving tale...

Good morning and thanks for the coffee start, Martin.

It's 28 and sunny in MA this morning, rising to 57 with continued clear skies.

Yesterday, we did a lot of nothing.
I caught a cold at some point, and have been caughing my head off all day. Things calmed down overnight, but I'm back to it again this morning.

Today, we'll continue to veg out, and Brenda has a shopping list for things she needs in general and for dinner. She mentionned goulash...

Enjoy the day,
Steve

thanks for the start it's more of that weird stuff with all the strange ingredients that someone else likes for me, I'll spare you the ingredient list... okay well, there's... it's kind of burgandy
had some rain on drive out to Abbottsford yesterday in the Jeep though fortunately got out early for some serious low speed riding focused on some handling habits improvements [maybe, see if
I fall down better now that I'm limbered up]
Didn't look good coming back along Hwy 1 on the other side, they had a greyish Harley on the sidestand, fourways going and full on accident investigation team multiple police vehicles and traffic
backed up for I think a few miles trying to get out of the lower mainland
News said one taken to hospital will say a prayer that guy / girl fares as well as the bike seemed to [assuming that's what happened]
lot of high stress drivers seems on saturday once 9:00 am starts; had a guy give me about a tenth of a second before cutting across [from the left even!] a four way stop ahead of the cue just stared right at me
like, you're not fast enough. That's right, I'm not but I know you are.
Will be a nice morning; steady 9C and a bit of sun for a few hours perfect temperature for the ST and Sunday drivers are generally a little more chill
Wish everyone a good one and a safe ride if you're out there

Morning all, and thanks Martin for the sweater, aka spinning a yarn.

0C here and sunny, headed to +9. I may move the Wing out from storage from the back garage to the front one, and change the oil, oil filter and transmission filter. If not, it'll be an Monday afternoon task as I start my 7 weeks of half days. (or Tuesday afternoon, or Wednesday.....)

Hope everyone has at least some fun today.

Obo.

Thanks for the coffee Martin, and reminding us of some of the weaknesses of weak men.
At our Thursday business meeting at the office, we discussed our leader's 5 points of being a man.
He started out by asking "what is a man?"
In jocular fashion, I quipped... "I don't know. I'm not a biologist", referring to our newest Supreme Court justice's stupid answer to "what is a woman", asked of her during her confirmation hearings.
(She should never have been confirmed, based on that one answer alone.)
To shorten the story, David's last of 5 points was "a man should be useful."
Meaning, able to do some things for his family or his neighbors... such as observing and tightening loose water pipe fittings.
It was an interesting discussion.
Maybe I'll share the first four of his 5-part definition of a man, in the future.
Or maybe I won't.
But your gf's son-in-law reminded me of this recent conversation. Hopefully he has other attributes to compensate for his lack of mechanical skills, so I won't judge.
More importantly, at least at this moment... I'm going to put more Black Rifle in my coffee mug.
Oh.
I didn't actually go to the bike night last night.
But it was at a Harley dealer anyway, so no great loss.
Have a great day, it's Beautiful in Bama.

Daybreak here at the hotel in Easton, still woke up early, mainly out of habit but also allergies. No herd to feed this morning, my daughter was nice enough to step in while we were gone. 52F/11C and sunny. Some hotel bean swill to stem the tide, along with their modest breakfast offerings go get started while we hang out until the final luncheon "banquet" on the sand and awards ceremony.

The show went real good last night. No issues, dropped lines, or tech problems. Everyone had fun. And the adjudicators were very kind. They noted that all day they had watched a number of serious plays: death, cancer, infidelity, etc. So, to have ours (about newlyweds on their second marriage trying to get into their posh hotel room) near the end of the day was a breath of light-hearted air. Good to end on an upbeat note.

Welp, time to get going. Take care y'all!

Morning Martin & All from a very :wind1: , Southern Utah!

Currently it is 54F, up from 46F and heading for 59F. The winds have been blowing from the S @ 5 to 23mph. Later they will shift to the SSW @ 28 to 41mph. By tomorrow we *might* see some rain. We'll know when it hits the ground.

Other than killing Wasps nests, I didn't get too much done yesterday, due to the winds were too much for me to fight. So I stayed in and did some laundry.

We have out late church meeting and that will probably be all we get done today.

Chris is up and fixing some boiled eggs. Pepsi(s) for later.

Anyone :bk13:, have a great day on the roads! :hat3:
