As some of you know, I've had some physical issues over the last year or so. I had to do some FARKLE-ing on my hip. Shiny new titanium is working decent. But continued strength and steadiness issues have made me uneasy aboard my beloved Goldwing. So ... last fall I picked up myself an extra wheel. There is no doubt it's a learning curve after the ST and GW, but I do only have 650 miles on her. It's coming along tho. At least I can enjoy the wind and the road. I do have to say this is an amazing machine.

I knew you had been having some issues... just didn't know it was physical! :eek1: :roflmao-2x:

Seriously though, nice machine. Nice color. It's only a matter of time before I (or any/most of us) need to go beyond 2 wheels.

As a wee tyke starting on a trike I wish the wheel position was like that of a Can-Am. It would have made for far far fewer skinned and sore knees not to mention the occasional face plant.
They make a Two wheel front pedal bike, not cheap though.

I like those (not for me at this time but in the future, who knows?). Nice to be able to just sit at a light without trying to balance a bike and lots of storage. Best of luck with it. I think those have a sequential shift (pushbutton), don’t they (not a true full automatic)?

Yes, they are called a semi-automatic. You must use the thumb shifter to upshift. It will downshift by itself when backing off the throttle, or you can use the opposite side of the thumb shifter to manually downshift.

I keep looking in the direction of CanAms but haven't yet pulled the trigger. Dunno if I ever will; depends on which way the wind is blowing in the House of Fun.

Regardless, congratulations on the shiny new ride, in such a lovely shade of red.

If you haven’t yet put a Baja Ron stabilizer on it. Makes a word of difference!
It Takes time to learn how to steer it comfortably. It’s no motorcycle. But it is nice to be able to still ride when things or health get in the way. I’m glad my girlfriend’s Spyder is in my garage. I rode it first after cancer took 2/3 of my right lung. Now I’m waiting for a knee replacement next month.

I’ll be in northern Arkansas early in May and have an appointment to run up to Missouri to LaMonster Garage and have them install the new sway bar. The front end needs to be about 18 inches off the ground to do the install. I can’t hold it that high for very long! 🤪

Wait! You own a HONDA and you don't like RED?!?
:roflmao-2x:

Ok I did own ONE RED HONDA.

Simply RED.

The ride home will be so much better! If you go into a curve to the left, lean to the right and push the bar with your right hand. Just the opposite of you go into a right hand turn. You will get use to it. Take your time at first. You will get better and enjoy it. It’s not a motorcycle. But can be fun to ride.
