Productivity is suspended until further caffeination... :coffee:

G'Day...

10°/16°C, overcast, gray, dull... some rain, or maybe not... unclear... 🌫️

considering consuming a 3rd mug today... ☕

middle of the week and the middle of April...

ze GF was again out of it in the morning, her noises emitted upon my efforts to wake her, show strong similarities
to a dog due for his annual bath or getting dragged into a vet's waiting room... ;)

Well, I too am less and less motivated to show up at this office... :cautious:
Can't finish anything in peace, nothing fun, nothing to look forward to... agonizing...
Might things improve? Doubtful...
Seems I'll have to bring myself to a decision then, does it...

The clutch tamer for ze GF's NT700VA arrived...
She asked me to delay the installation till after the MOT(annual tech inspection),
as the blokes there might/will object on anything unfamiliar to them... seems like a good move...

have a good one! 😎

Good morning all!
I’ve got a hot pot of French Roast to add to Martin’s offering!
I picked up a basket of Banana muffins at he store for you lot! Grab a mug, fill both hands!
There’s lots to go around!

We have had a lot of heavy rain this week and more on its way!
Currently 54/57 F - 13/14 C

The rodents have abused me to no end overnight! I’ve tossed & turned half the night!

Yes, this Sunday is Miss Judy’s Celebration of life! Apparently it’s weighing a bit heavier than I thought!
There should be a decent turnout as I’m holding it in Woodstock where she lived & worked.

Enjoy your day!

Morning all, and thanks for startup Martin and the French Roast, Brian.

8 here and rainy, headed to 10 later on.

They are saying the highway may open 1 Eastbound lane this afternoon, following last Wednesday's accident & closure. We'll wait and see.

Hope everyone has a super day, & @Whisker Bill thinking of you buddy.

Obo.

Good morning everyone

Thanks for the coffee, Martin, and good luck deciding what's to be next in your career.

It's 60°F and mostly sunny in Rockville; I can verify the mostly sunny part through direct observation from the window behind my computer screens. The humidity level is 96 percent, indicating the onset of the sticky time in the area. We'll have hot humid conditions until early September, probably. How hot, you asl? Today's high is expected to be around 91.

After yesterday's waffling, I did ultimately go for a short, easy bike ride.

Today I've got an early tee time at the goof course, scotch with the fellas this evening, and a few things to wrap up before I go, so that's it from me for now.

Stay safe and well everyone and tell your dear ones you love them. Do it today, NOW, for tomorrow may be too late.

Thanks for the start Martin I'm sure you'll land well if you take the leap

Got a call for help with an interesting one myself seems we're getting closer to using heat pumps [directly] for DHW than I thought my "evil gas" ways may be numbered in more ways than one

Dryer and a bit cooler in around 4C next couple days might see 16 or 17 on the weekend with a bit of rain and cloud might switch over to Black Bird and revisit some issues with that

Will see if my gear has dried out overnight and have at it - at least I'm inside today... and no helper :run1:

Wish everyone a good one and a safe ride

Good morning and thanks for the coffee, guys.

It's 57 and sunny in MA this morning. The temperature should rise to 80, while it becomes cloudy later.
I'm going to have to plan on installing window AC soon. I may need to send up the Bat Signal to our Son to help bring them down from the attic. Fans will do, for now.

Yesterday, I made it to the gym, and then on to my Urologist office. The air cast concerned him so I'll wrap the ankle when I go for surgery, instead. He wasn't concerned about the cold, and we both feel that it'll be gone by next week.

Today, I'll be sitting around again, with a trip to the gym a possibility.

Enjoy the day,
Steve

Good morning, all. Thanks for the coffee, Martin, and the refill and banana muffin, Brian. Thinking of you!

The temps are getting progressively more springlike, but it sure is yucky out there. It's been raining all week (sometimes in significant quantities) and it doesn't look like that's going to change until Saturday. The current number is 6°C/43°F and the day's high will be a wet 11°C/52°F. Our resident mallard and his lady are back, however, and they don't seem to mind.

Everyone have a great day, stay safe and go safely. Quack.

Morning all. I know I'm late when @Peppermint gets her post in here before me.
But I have an excuse... Kaiser ate my homework.
No, wait...
Yesterday I saw my BMW TFT display indicating the rear tire was at 20psi. Say WHAT?
Confirmed with the pressure gauge. Repressurized with the air compressor.
So, what happened?
Well, let's take a look.
Oh.
Here's my chore for this evening... first flat in over 20,000 miles road and dirt riding.

@Sadlsor that tire's definitely screwed.
Heck no it ain't!!
It may have BEEN screwed, but it definitely is NOT screwed.
I got tools and I got rubber sticky worms and I got a compressor and I know how to use 'em!
But it has less than half its original life left, I don't remember the mileage when I installed them, but have it written down.

G'mornin' from SoMD the office! 65F/18C but
it was not a pleasant ride in today. Too many grumpy, under-caffeinated, over-entitled, phone-distracted cages for my liking and safety. Oh, and my last fill-up dropped in mileage too. Usually 42mpg, I got 38! With all the crosstalk about carb syncing, maybe I should finally grab a screwdriver and get it dialed in...or know better to just blame traffic and leave well enough alone.

Taxes due today 🤮 and stepmother's birthday. 🎂 She's an accountant too...go figure? Easy to remember for me at least. So I'll give her a ring today. Will probably file an extension, seems like every year something changes for me that takes longer to figure out...and I'm a procrastinator. But I'm hopeful that this year's changes will actually help. Fingers crossed. 🤞

Can't think of much else. Thoughts are with you today, @Whisker Bill. Take care y'all!

Morning Martin, Brian & All from sunny, Southern Utah!

Currently it is 48F, up from 32F and heading for 63F. The winds have already started up, coming from the S @ 4 to 8mph. And later they will get stronger, coming from the SW @ 17 to 27mph. the next few night are expected to be below freezing. :cautious:

Brian, my thoughts are with you!

My knee is feeling better, so I think I'll give it another day before I try to mess it up again. Meaning I'll be just sitting around the house again, today.

Once Chris is up we'll get some breakfast. Pepsi(s) will be had later.

Anyone :bl13:, have a great day on the roads! :hat3:

Afternoon, y’all. Yeah, I’m late again, and mad as hell. But, at least, I was mad enough to get some things done this morning.

I called a landscaper yesterday, and was promised that he’d stop by yesterday afternoon to look at the property. We even talked about my problem with no-shows. He assured me he’d be here. Guess f’ing what? A no-show.

Go up this morning, pulled up my big boy drawers, and got to it. Pressure washed the SUV, the F250, the mower, and even washed the ATV. Took the ATV down in the woods and hitched my old 4x8 trailer, after freeing it from the overgrowth. Got a few more limbs to load before hauling to my burn pile in the woods. That is, if they ever lift the burn ban.

Where’s my Advil?

Still running, after 26 years.

Pffftt,
John

Afternoon all! Sun and cloud off and on, possibly a bit of moisture later. 9C now and that's about as warm as it's going to get.

Working from home today. I really like my co-workers approach to life; sleep, eat, maybe relieve oneself and back to sleeping and eating if the bipedal employees can be fooled/coerced into providing 2nd or 3rd breakfast.

Woodstock is a lovely town Brian, a great place for a memorial. My grandparents lived there so I visited often and attended both of their memorials there. I know Miss Judy will appreciate your giving her a great send off!

Hope everyone has a great day!

Thanks Ted & also, those that mentioned this!
I just found out that Joan, (one of Judy’s older sisters) is in hospital and her Dr’s are very concerned about any chance of recovery!

Which reminds me; Scott, how is you brother?
