How much does the odometer influence your purchase price?

Some pretty interesting replies and I am enjoying everyone's input!

For me personally, mileage doesn't matter to a point and the mechanical condition of the bike is more important. That being said, a 2008 with 350k km on it is going to be worth less to me than the same vintage with 100k km and a bike with 5k km makes me think its been neglected/forgotten to rot in storage.

Here's a picture of my mistress that I snapped on a nice day last year in Kananaskis. A lot of the miles I put on her were commuting for work and a few short road trips.

When buying used I look for stock unmolested bikes. Depending on brand and model what I consider high mileage varies. I look at 50k miles differently on an ST1300 or FJR than I do on KTM or Ducati. No matter how good a bike is 120,000 miles is still more wear than 60,000 miles and increases the probability of things needing replacing.

A friend just bought his third ZZR 1400.
With the first two, he racked up over 300,000 km each time. (The engine broke down at 325,000 km on the second one.)
A remarkably robust motorcycle.
