How about some Foggy Pics...

Those are some great pics. On our way to Glacier National Park we approached a heavy fog layer and disappeared (almost) into it. Riding up to one of the Visitor Center to a lookout point we were above that fog/cloud layer and it was awesome.

Yeah yeah fog is a type of cloud. No meteorologist me but this felt like a very low cloud that touched the ground and sky. Something more than forming on the ground and meeting low clouds.

We called it 'fog' on the way up and through it but once about it — it was clouds. A huge dense layer for miles. So cool. Shoulda taken a video. Any way it's parsed debated argued or presented — It.Was.Awesome.

The only thing I've seen even more awesome is one of the meteor showers years ago that filled sky. I've never seen one that busy before.

And there's camping on the beach. Settling down at lights out. Minding your now business with your night vision kicks in on a near moonless night. Stars come out like someone flicked on massive LEDs in the overhead.

Billions & Billions...

This is a favourite of mine, sunrise heading out of Invercargill into a beautiful summer's day. About 20 minutes after this I ran clean over a piece of split firewood that had bounced out of someone's trailer and dented the front rim but the 1100 carried on like nothing had happened.

I was waiting for someone to post a pic of Foggy, lol. Finally met him a couple of years ago at a Ducati premiere in Monterey. Foggy eyes are also legendary...
