The general rule of thumb is short stacks are for high rpm power and long stacks are for low end. The long one I designed is about an inch shorter than stock, but has the bell mouth inlet so that may make up for the shorter length.
To answer your question, I have no idea if either will make a noticeable difference. My biggest regret about this project is that I can’t afford dyno time for everything I make along the way. So it’s going to have to be seat of the pants until it all comes together and it needs a real tune by a real tuner.
If I notice a difference with either or both, I’d like to get a couple sets out into the wild to get some peer reviews because it could be something I’d consider bringing to market. As with everything else I say in this thread: we’ll see what happens!
