Good morning!
Your coffee is ready, brand Coop, strong and efficient, not like the author.

Martin mentioned walrus a few days ago.
There’s one visiting a bay just a few clicks north of here, taking naps on a small floating dock.
They believe it’s Magnus, he’s been on a STE (swim to eat) southeast in the country.
He’s believed to be on his return to Svalbard.
Qute ( ?? ) but dangerous, he can fight polar bears and orcas, just like Obo I think.

15˚c/59f, heavy showers, 30mph wind from south.

Today is getting yesterdays firewood production organized.
And a birthday party in the evening for a BIL.

Yesterdays day-tv was interrupted by my son in law who needed help from a man with a cordless angle grinder.
Go Ryobi!

Have a good one, if you want to grow a mustache, eat more fish!
Stu

It's 3:08am and I'm actually still up from yesterday, so not sure it really counts as morning. But I did get a sip of coffee, thanks Martin!

Stayed up to remove the rear wheel for changing, get it cleaned up and refresh the rear brake pistons. Boy, I didn't realize how long I'd gone on it until I saw the date code was 2014! Whoops! I did not ride much during the pandemic but still feel like a dunce for not being more on top of it besides just having a new tire on hand. I'll get it squared away when I wake up tomorrow later.

Updates may be pending. Take care y'all!

Good morning everyone

Thanks for the coffee, Stoo. I'll try to keep the noise to a minimum so as not to disturb @jdmccright as he tries to catch up on beauty sleep.

It's 53°F, calm, and clear in Rockville as dawn begins. Later on it'll be in the upper 80s with sun all day long.

Due to an error on my part (replied to the wrong email) my name didn't get put forward for yesterday afternoon's half round of golf, but the time got taken up by a request from a friend of Mrs. Fun that I come around to look at a problematic door. Her current male friend had changed the weatherstripping at the bottom and the door would no longer close. He and I made the same diagnosis and fixed the issue, then repeated the project on another door. It's a lot easier with two people than with just one.

It's uke day today. I may try an experiment to see whether I can get there by bicycle, with all the stuff needed (music books, notebooks, instrument(s), music stand). I have a couple of options, so it seems as if it should be do-able.

Stay safe and well everyone and tell your dear ones you love them. Do it today, NOW, for tomorrow may be too late.

Yes, this is a rare orca straw. No fighting was involved.

And here is another photo of a wall Russ.

Isn't language fun?

The weather here's not too shabby either. The ride in was a sunny 11C and the ride home should be equally sunny, but 21C.

I had a little fun with a Corvette this morning. While his top speed would have exceeded mine (due to the Wing's limiter) he couldn't out accelerate me. I think he was a bit miffed.

As for JD, he said himself, the last time he was tired was 2014-ish.

Hope everyone has a great day.

Obo.

Good morning and thanks for the coffee, Stu.
Probably not the same, but our daughter had a few sea lion neighbors, when they were living aboard their sailboat in CA. Nice to watch, from a distance.

It's sunny and 53, rising to 83, later.

Plans to hit the gym came to a halt, when my visiting PT lady cautioned me about overexertion until my next urologist followup. I'll hold off on core and leg days, since the surgery affected those muscles most.
PT lady said I'm doing great, and released me, since I'm now mobile. I'll follow up with the local VA PT group.
Since it was on my mind, I called the urologist and reschedule my appointment, so I can attend the entire Loudon Classic weekend.

Today, I'll head over to the track in Thompson for an open track day.
I may come home to an empty house, as Brenda will stay the night with our son's family, so she can babysit our grandkids tomorrow. She'll have dinner there, while I'll remain with the cats.
I see an opportunity to have the Wing inspected, and...

Enjoy your day,
Steve

Morning, everyone. Nice walrus, Stu. Goo-Goo G’joob.

53/81 with some Allman Brothers lyrics

Don't fly, mister bluebird
I'm just walkin' down the road
Early morning sunshine
Tell me all I need to know

Things are getting pretty hot under the cover, after rubbing butts last night. 10 hours, at 275 degrees should do it. One more grocery run this morning, and I’m set for the weekend. Y’all come.

I'd gone on it until I saw the date code was 2014!

You should be good. 2014 was just a couple of years ago, right. Right?

Annnnddddd... my favorite (even though it's so hard to choose) ABB song. Duane and Dickey on dual lead guitar, is inspiring, soaring and uplifting.
But similarly makes me want to cry when I think of Duane's crash and what he had already accomplished by age 23, not to mention the music he would have created in the intervening decades. I bet Gregg would still be alive, too. He was destroyed at his brother's death.
I've often considered making Blue Sky my ringtone for Roz... either that, or Evil Woman. Haven't decided after 25 years...
Besides motorbikes, I could discuss music forever, including, and especially, the Allman Brothers.
A cool 60° now, but warming into the 80s.
Keep on with impressing the PTs, Steve. Your body will thank you, and so will you, later.
Seems I've used most of my morning words, triggered by our carnivorous companion in Tennessee.
And stay off I24... got it.
Thanks for the heads up! Two days and a wakeup.
Yummmm!

if you want to grow a mustache, eat more fish!
I was going to have fish for dinner tonight but now...maybe not.

Good morning, all, and thanks for the coffee, Stu! Nice tusks! On Magnus, I mean.

It's a beautiful, mainly sunny day out there, but it's going to be a warm one. 19°C/66°F now, going to 29°C/84°F with a feels-like of 31°C/88°F. A walk might well be in order this morning, before things get too sticky.

OK, gotta go do some'at. Everybody have a good one, stay safe and go safely. And if you're rubbing butts, make sure you have the right spices. Nothing like a good butt rub.

Patty

Good Morning Y'all. Thanks Stu for Picture and Coffee, and everyone else for making me laugh. 2014 you say, was a good year, Youngest daughter gave me a Grandson, the Mazda 2 Mom gave us was made that year. Is it just me, but it seems like time is passing faster the longer I'm alive. Not much on my agenda for today, 58 F Mix of Sun and clouds and 8 mph of winds from the SW. Sounds like a good day to tidy up in the shop. Cheers G

Thankfully, my records show I installed the last tire in 2017, and I eked 14k miles out of it. Gotta love those good ol' Metzelers.

Morning all! Beautiful sunny morning here though clouds are lurking off to the west. 12C right now, 18C later.

Sadlsor, that's an eeriecoincidence; listening to Idlewild South right now in my office.

Stoo, cool pic of Magnus. I would imagine getting him to move would be a monumental tusk.

I'll show myself out......hope everyone has a great day!
