I wanted to know how to lube/grease the swingarm pivot. There's no zerk fitting I can see. Is it in the common service manual (I don't have it)? Thanks!

I applaud you for wanting to do this. There's no external grease nipple so disassembly is your only option and you will need the special tool to get the swingarm bolt out. If it is any guidance, I recently disassembled a 1986 VFR750 and the original grease was still in the bearings, so I needn't have bothered.
Those bearing will require zero pounds of grease across the riding life of your bike.

They are tapered bearings, next time you have the rear wheel off, unbolt the rear shock. The swing arm should move easily and smoothly. grab and twist, there should be zero play like a steering stem bearing.
