I replaced margarine with butter (Kellygold) a few years back. I need to monitor my butter intake because I find it addictive. A couple of extra eggs are really no factor. So this info will be filed and tested. Thanks Shuey.

Butter used to be something I added, now I look for ways to add it, wish I never found this butter.

If a chocolate cake (or brownies) replace the water with coffee. And, I don't drink coffee!

A daughter in-law leaves a coffee pot here. I bought a small amount of coffee grounds and then Googled "how to make coffee". It was worth it

This is the way. The added coffee enhances the flavor and moisture without a coffee taste, giving it an incredible rich and moist texture. Best chocolate cake I've ever had!

It does. When brewing it's made double strength, so I'm sure it's the same for instant. Use the coffee instead of the water that's called for with cake mix.
