G'Day...

28°/35°C... only a few scattered clouds, quite gusty winds... 🌤️
Yeah... didn't cool off at all during the night... 😓

due to logistics* at my place: Nespresso... ☕
(hence no cat bugging me... 😁)

*left ze GF's Skoda in the sub-level garage and took the '94... despite the wind a quite soggy ride... 🥵

office, dull, the obligatory Nescafé... ☕ (reordered another tray with 80 sachets/40 mugs already...)

already tacked together another € 540K offer... Vienna Airport... aprox 1900 man-hours... pfffff... 😥

as mentioned a bike shed session in the evening, then over to ze GF who bravely cleaned/washed the entire ST-parts booty last night,
and is now insisting on bringing her some paint care/polish to finish them... 😲 🤔
uhboy... 😎

hooever, the dawn of weekend hope is shimmering ahead... 😎

Good morning and thanks for the coffee, Martin.
Alarm cat is getting more consistent about our/my rise time. 5:45, this morning.

It's cloudy and 71/22 in MA this morning, becoming partly cloudy and 88/28, later.
We'll also have a chance of the occasional Thunderstorm.

Yesterday's plan of the gym and dog walk came to fruition and my knees are a bit sore as a result.
The pup was happy to be out, and found one of her favorite swimming places on the way back.
Nice for her to cool off, but I just sweated.

Today's plan is a gym visit, as well as a visit to the VA for a PT session.
As with the rain day on Monday, I'll probably stay indoors, due to today's heat.

Enjoy your day,
Steve

Good morning everyone

Thanks for the coffee Martin, and kudos to ze GF for cleaning up all those parts on your behalf.

It's 76°F and sunny in Rockville, making a nice change from the on-and-off rain we had for much of yesterday (although by around 1600 hours the rain was over and the skies were well on their way to clearing, making a pleasant evening for my monthly scotch-tasting session with two friendly neighbors). The humidity makes it feel like 85 now; later when the high is 92 it'll feel like 103, and the rain may return around 1800 hours.

Alarm cat

Amazingly, Brie is quite patient most mornings- not that I give her much cause to be otherwise, as I generally get up between 0500 and 0530 of my own volition- but this morning she must've eaten a bowl of Mexican jumping beans because she was bounding back and forth, jumping on and off the bed with the vigor of a pinball ricocheting off the bumpers at the top of the board, and generally showing great interest in my impending wakefulness.

Goof yesterday was a washout; after a very soggy first nine holes we called it quits and were glad to be done and out of the rain. I'll try again this afternoon, after my friend and former colleague arrives from North Carolina on his way to Maine.

Stay safe and well everyone and tell your dear ones you love them. Do it today, NOW, for tomorrow may be too late.

Once she has set her mind onto something... no stopping her... 🤔🤨;)

You shouldn't have yelled "Arriba!“... ;)

What's up y'all?
Sun's up, I'm up, humidity's up.
And coffee's up, thanks Martin, and you can get Black Rifle Beyond ⚫️ Black here.
No brekkie here, but if I remember, I'll have a hubcap tomorrow with the guys at Pelham diner. Add a side of smoked sausage, thank you.
Maybe an afternoon shower again, but I have managed to ride to and fro the week long, with no waterproof riding clothes.
Radiator should show up today for the 4- wheeled vehicle.
So you can tell not much out of the ordinary today, at least not so far.

Morning Martin & All from another sunny day, in Southern Utah!

Currently it is 85F, heading for 97F. No breeze yet, later the winds will be out of the W@ 10 to 14mph. And we have possible thunderstorms brewing again, starting later today. I'll believe it when it happens. :well1:

Yesterday was a great success. I met the WeSTOC Shirt Guy in ST George. Nice guy, he'll have the shirts ready in about three weeks. I also upgraded the shirts one level.

The down turn of yesterday was the HEAT! :nuke1: We not only saw108F, but we had to be out in it, just long enough to get from the truck to the stores.

Today, I need to get out in the garage and get a few more items out of it and out to the shed.

Breakfast, once Chris gets up! Pepsi(s) for later.

Anyone :bl13:, have a great day on the roads! :hat3:

WeSTOC 30 is in FIVE WEEKS!

G'mornin' from SoMD! Well it is a gorgeous day here, sunny and 82F/28C, expected to reach 91F. On the humid side but not oppressive, better than normal for late summer. I don't know who all gained the wisdom to take coffee beans, roast them, then drip hot water through the grounds as a drink, but I thank them profusely. And thank you, Martin, for today's offering! I woke up early with a full bladder and a dinger of a headache...must be caffeine deficiency. The Prince Of Purrrsia has decided lately to not sleep with me as there must be more exciting things outside the bedroom to make crash in the middle of the night. But he still knows to rattle the door when it is well before feeding time. Kids.

WFH today, with a few house chores sprinked in as I can get to them. The Frankenstein mower is almost ready, runs fine but I had forgotten that the bowl nut gasket needed replacing so that's on order. The only other one I have left has electric start and that one needs a new battery charger which is of course no longer available. So, it gets converted to use a standard battery maintainer/float charger also waiting for that to arrive. Also maybe some more spot carpet cleaning. I dunno.

Take care y'all!
