Good morning everyone

Starbucks is open here at the Providence Marriott, so get yourself a cup and join me.

It's 58°F and clear here, with a beautiful autumn day in the offing: full sun and a high around 67.

We're off to Boston mid-morning, where we'll visit my nephew and his bride until Tuesday morning. Neither of us has been to Beantown, so it'll all be news to us.

Stay safe and well everyone and tell your dear ones you love them. Do it today, NOW, for tomorrow may be too late.

Thx Keith!
Enjoy your stay in Boston, I believe they speak some sort of english there.

15˚c/59f, a few showers, 25mph wind from west.

Been out early with Mrs Stu to buy some danish beach gravel/pebbles, they’re brownish, and we (she) use them to decorate the entrance.

Planning for a beach walk later.
Beef burgers and sweet potato fries for dinner.

Have a good one, and what Keith says!

Good morning and thanks for the coffee, Keith.
I hope you have a good time in Boston.

It's 49, rising to 67 in MA today. We've got some nice blue sky, but it'll become partly cloudy , later.

I made it to the gym, yesterday and did my leg and core stuff.
Brenda wasn't too happy to go to our local Mexican place, so we ordered a couple of pizzas.

Today, I'm off to the track in Thompson for the open track day. It'll be interesting to see how many cars show up.
Dinner will happen somewhere.

Have a great day,
Steve

Good morning, everyone. Thanks, Keith.

I just stopped by to complain about the weather. 23 days in a row, above 90. But we get a break today, as the high is only 96, down from yesterday’s 99. That’s 19 degrees above the normal average of 80.

I’m headed out to feed the birds and squirrels, while it’s still in the 70’s. The solar powered fountain in the bird bath has been popular during the heat. Who knew that birds would enjoy a splash pad?

9 out of 10 people function better with coffee... :coffee:
and that 10th one is just a bloody liar...

G'Day...

12°/26°C, haze, but glaring sunshine out there... ☀️

various amounts of Nespresso... ☕
(who could afford Starbucks these days... pfffff...)

the trail-cam unveiled that now also a fox is visiting the garden during the night... 🦊

ze GF already aerated the lawn (Black&Decker push-unit with like a big wire-brush inside),
and we distributed the (3rd) fall season fertilizer dose...
So from this POV winter can come... ;)

then she cleaned and sealed the painted surfaces of her metal garden shed with dedicated solvents from the manufacturer... 🥵
Meanwhile I fabbed an Excel spreadsheet about received/delayed/missing paychecks... about € 15K still open (net, after tax!) :cautious:
So an appointment at the Chamber of Labor is due next week...

A friend texted me intending to replace the brake fluid on his NT700VA prior an MOT inspection, gonna meet at the shed next week...

Not much else besides poking around for job openings... and enjoying the few free days I still have (finished all 9 'The Expanse' novels...)

in that sense enjoy your Saturday 😎

Good morning last week survivors and thanks Keith. 74 and raining with a who knows what will happen forecast.

The car gets finished today with just a few minor items left to do, like the steering wheel install, torquing down the seats and recharging the AC. I'll either be a hero or a goat. I'm optimistic that I will have a lot of points to spend.

Stay safe!!
