So my developer friend is done with jumping thru all the hoops and loops of Google bureaucracy and finally the software is on Google Play (also for iPhone).
You can plan on the WEB motocurve.com and navigate right on your phone. Or plan directly on the phone.
It covers North America (incl. CN and MX) and Europe. For now, Europe is having just a Fastest option, but you sure can put the Shaping/Via points and make it go as you desire.
Works on Android and iPhone. And is available on Android Auto and Carplay.
In the "Community" tab you can find shared routes planned by other members and contribute yours to others. Different events under "Events" tab and POI in the "Plan" tab in the "Explore" button under the Search box on upper left, record and save rides.
And much more.
Sure, there are many softwares like this, but all have their own variations and functionalities.
Go and check it out, it is going to be free for the time being.
P.S.
Another good feature, In the App, you can share the ride with friends by sharing the code and each will know where all riders are if some deviate or drifted apart.
Also, your loved ones can know where you are if you share with them.
So go and get familiar with the App and the Web. It's a lot to discover.
For all Q&A refer to support@motocurve.com
