Being bald by choice has only one drawback,,,,,I sometimes try to pull the guts out of my helmet when I take it off my noggin, in particular when the shave is < 1 day old. So, I am looking for a good helmet liner or anything I can use to save the guts of my helmet. Anyone?

+1 on the cotton headliners found in Wingstuff. I have shaved my head for 35 years and started wearing headliners fighter pilots use, lost it somewhere in Montana. Been using the Wingstuff headliners since.

Thanks guys. Ordered a liner from Cycle Gadget last night.

I have a buddy who's a surgeon...he gave me a handful of surgical caps. They are good for several days and they are adjustable.

What ever you buy, make sure it does not have any kind of seam on the top. I bought one that had a seam that ran front to back over the center of my mellon... Got real sore after about 40 miles & I thought I would never get rid of that dent in the top of my forehead...

Ditto.

Mine is a Silks brand cotton liner and has 3 seams. I've got to find a cotton one without them. As Bob said it takes forever for the dents to go away. I don't know what is worse, the dents in the forhead when you take it off or how dorky you look with the liner on your head before you can get your helmet on.

That said, I don't put my helmet on without it.
