GoPro Hero Camera Mounts and leg holders on MCL wings

I have one of these. The Motorsport model comes with quite a variety of mounts. Makes it very versatile. I have a mount on the mirror of the ST and use the suction cup to mount it virtually anywhere on the tupperware! Takes OK videos given the price. One thing to be aware of.....the suction cup mount may let go as the temp approaches freezing. At least that allowed me to find out the camera will survive a 60mph "get off"!!!
I use the Li rechargeable batteries and they seem to work OK.

Overall great little camera. I just wish the controls were easier to operate on the go. As it is now, you pretty much have to get it running before you get on the bike.

TEll me more about those batteries. I haven't been able to find any.

I believe I got them (Energizer) at a big box electronics store. Can't recall for sure but they are Li rechargeable AA's.
Sorry, can't be much more help.

pashnit.com is having a group buy on the GoPro Hero. But it looks like the deal is only throwing in a 2GB SD card ($5 value at Newegg.com) and free shipping. YMMV, etc.

This looks great! I have used a regular video recorder mounted on a RamMount to the brake fluid housing. Last fall I purchased a Tachyon camera. I actually used it in the woods last November. I'm anxious to see how it will work on the bike. I hadn't thought about using the MCL wings, but I may have to try that too. To Larry, the wings are the best. My knees aren't what they used to be, and they really take the pressure off them on long trips. I'm going from VT to WI to visit my brother, and I'm sure they will come in handy.

FTR, I don't have my camera yet.

Have seen Li-ion AA-pair replacements. But GoPro website says the camera uses AAAs

That is correct. It does take triple A's. I think I made the same mistake in the orginal post. I will correct it.

Damn. This looks like it's gonna cost me some money. You guys are always encouraging this type of behavior...
