I've got Olympia Airglide pants, but they are too long. Has anyone who has these pants had them hemmed? I'm wondering how difficult it would be.

I've never had the Airglides, but I did need to shorten a pair of Spidi pants with armor. I went to a seamtress and had her take out the material in the thigh area rather than the hem. That kept the knee and leg armor in the proper relationship with my stubby short legs.
Just a thought.

I have a pair of the Airglides that I would have hemmed if I wore them only to walk around in. They look too long (read BAGGY) when standing. On the bike the extra length works very well in my normal riding position and properly covers my boots rather than having the pant hem at the top of the boots.

Free advice, (its worth what you paid for it! ;) ). Try them sitting on the bike before you decide how long or short you want them to be.

I just got finished reading the Olympia website where they explain that they use a system called "E-Z Hem" whereby the zipper stops six inches above the the bottom to allow for shortening.

Good luck and ride safe, bro.

I hate that manufacturers do not make them in different lengths.
Yes the Olympia would be an easy fix since there zippers do not go all the way to the bottom. Make sure who ever does it removes the bottom part, trim it up then replace the bottom piece back on. Um if you lived in Co I would volunteer to sew them up.

My new airglides are a touch too long when standing, but when on the bike they actually seem too short. They bunch up some at the knee area and expose ~4" of my boot above my ankle. I was thinking of putting on some elastic 'stirrups' off the bottom of the pant legs, but then I found they're already made. (One example: http://www.hawgtiebikerstirrups.com/home.html.)

You have to hem the pants, and the liner.
Take them to a seamstress, or dress maker.
Measure when sitting down.
