Interphone Bluetooth Intercom

Ive been watching Ebay and they seem to be going for $220 give or take for a pair of them.
I dont want to be the first but after awhile and a couple of reviews they look like they could be THE ONE LOL
They hold a lot of promise IMHO

I use this sySTem for my Garmin 2820. Had a problem with water getting in it. Went to my dealer, got a new one right away.

I use a jet helmet and a flipflap helmet. On both it works great.
The scalar rider sySTem has the mic mounted on the unit, so that one is hard to place in the flipflap helmet.

I do not use the BT for my phone or MP3 or B2B or rider/pillion, but it should do the job.
More ST owners here are satisfied with this unit.

Thanks!

Just bought 2 units off Ebay for about $95 each plus shipping. Will post a review in 3 weeks. They haven't arrived yet but should get here before I leave on a 4000km ride in 2 weeks.

Hi,
I've now the Interphone since two months and seem to have some problems with it. I basically bought the solution to communicate with my pillion and at the same time receive phone calls.
At speeds over 70-90km/h(45-50MHS) is starts to be very difficult to understand eachother:(. When in intercom mode (or biker to biker) you can not receive incoming calls.
I have asked Cellularline Interphone to solve these issues as I think that at least one of the modules is not working properly. At this time I'm waiting for their response in order to solve both problems...When these are solved, I will come back with more details.

I am still using my Interphones after 2 years, and they still seem to work fine. The communication is clear, both with phone and intercom right up to 100 k/h (and you are correct, that phone and intercom are not at the same time). I sometimes get wind noise from pillion, but usually just get her to adjust the location of her mic, or helmet visor and that usually works, plus we both use full face helmets. When I have used the Interphone bike to bike, the other bike has always had a windscreen which will cut down on any wind noise. You might want to try to position your windscreen on the high level when with pillion.

Here is an earlier report that I wrote about the units: https://www.st-owners.com/forums/showthread.php?t=28484&referrerid=5387

Let me know if you find out anything else.

Thanks,

The replacement unit I got had a new type of plug, which is better to keep moisture out of the unit.
I do not use it very often, I look at my Garmin instead of listening to the girl that I cannot get upset, whatever I try....

i have the blueants, they work well in the rain and at speeds less than 80kph,after that and if its windy they get kinda a choppy, the other thing is battery life, bout 5 hours ,not great for me as i sometimes ride all day, you cant hook up mp3 player to either , and others above have said the phone doesnt work with both at the same time.so if you need intercomes for leasure rides ther ok ,but if you ride at highway speeds and longer epic rides maybe not for you,im prob gonna go the j&m cb route ,ther wired in and much clearer and louder

I have changed to the new version which solves most of the problems encountered!

I always get at least 7 hrs riding time with my blueants unless its paired with a cell phone and have used it bike to bike up to 85 mph with very little wind noise (with the other unit on my buddy's fairingless Harley). On long rides I wear silicon earbuds with my MP3 to block out road noise and I can hear the blueant over that. I'd rather buy another set of Blueants than pay the $500 price tag for the new stereo Interphone.
