Alright, I can't be the only one in this group of electrical nerds that noticed the color bands on the resistor are out of order, can I ???

I stopped at noticing what it was and wondering how many won't know what it is.

a few months ago I was at a friends house and the wife pulled out an old photo album for some reason. Flipping through the pages she comes across a picture and says "oh, that's the car I learned to drive in". I take a look and its a '63 split-window Corvette.

My absolute favorite car of all cars!

I know what it is. My father taught me the color bands 50 years ago when knowing it could be useful to make electronic devices. I've forgotten since. If he were alive today, I'm pretty sure he could refresh my memory.

My school was so small we had our driving lessons and sex education in the same car.
