Naturally stupid was a genetic human trait that permitted us to survive as an early species.
Predators?
Stand perfectly still, they will chase and eat the hysterical crowd that's running in circles, flapping their arms and screaming incoherently.
When it's safe, reorganize and continue.
This is our problem today......not enough predators.
