A man has been marooned on a tropical island for five days, and believes he is condemned to a slow and agonising death, when he sees a small yacht approaching the island.
When the yacht pulls up on the beach, the sole person on board—a beautiful young woman wearing only a skimpy bikini—steps out.
Of course, he greets her as his saviour, and she seems pleased to have unexpectedly met someone on this small island.
He is ecstatic that he won’t die of thirst or starvation after all, and that he is about to be rescued. He suggests to the woman that they leave straight away.
She says, “Hold your horses … I’ve been at sea for four days and would like to have at least one day of rest on this island before going back onto the ocean.”
She then asks him if he is hungry.
“I’m famished”, he replies. “I’ve been here for nearly a week, and I’ve have had nothing to eat but oysters and coconuts in that time.”
She goes back to the yacht and returns with a picnic hamper full of wonderful food—cold cuts of roast beef and roast chicken, ham, pastrami, a variety of salads, several kinds of bread, exotic tropical fruits, and so on.
The man is both extremely grateful and flabbergasted that she would have such superb food on her small yacht.
She then asks him if he would like to share a bottle of Champagne with her to accompany their meal.
He says, “I would love to have some Champagne; I’ve had nothing to drink but rainwater since my boat sank five days ago and I had swim to this island.”
She goes to the yacht and returns with a bottle of chilled Champagne and two glasses.
Once again, he is amazed at what she has on her yacht—cold Champagne from a bar fridge, no less!
After they have finished their meal and wine, the woman looks at the man with a seductive smile and asks, “Would you like to play around?”
The man gasps and says, “What … you mean to say you also have two sets of golf clubs on that tiny yacht?”
