My 1998 Valkyrie turned 100k going 100 mph on the white sands of New Mexico. I keep wondering what I will do on my ST when it passes its first 100k.

I had a problem with [one of my] 650s one time, took it apart a bit and realized it was not an "underneath" problem; these Hondas are something else, was lucky enogh to put it back together and it forgave me

Back in the early 1960's when Japanese bikes hit the markets, there were so many brands and engine sizes, all looked flashy and clean and deciding which I wanted was an issue at first. I had been considering one of the usual...German, Italian, British, HD....but neighbors who had them were always working on them. Not to customize so much, but to merely keep them running.
Classmates began buying Japanese. They didn't leak anything, handled well and sounded cool. Constant tinkering was not a necessity. I decided on Honda for a simple reason. As garages were scarce in my neighborhood(s), I couldn't watch them rust. Paint and chrome seemed better executed so Honda it was.
