I won't criticize anyone's choice of what they ride, they are a fellow rider and made a choice for their own reasons. Whilst shopping for my new (used) ride, I came very, very close to buying an RT. I knew it would have good comfort and better rider protection from the elements, the engine was plenty peppy enough for me and I am fairly certain I could get used to the little tractor sounds 
but the Tracer surprised me with it's comfort and light weight, it's standard features list as well as a price of 6K less. But maybe I will by an RT one day
