151 up to the BRP on an ST1100

Buddy took me on a ride to show me his old stomping ground.. I think I like this road better than the gap.. and there was nobody on it :O

pardon the NSFW language.. I always seem to drive angry for some reason lol

Great road! Rode it numerous times going both ways. A group of us met a bus coming up 151. That was interesting.

In the fog if it was the time I'm thinking of.

Yep, thick fog the morning of the tour bus. Scary then, but makes for great conversation now.

Great road! I may just go do that one next week. And 80, and 197, and 694, and 276, and 215, and 28, and 129, and....

Stop Bill that's not fair all that fun in one weekend! Nice video you gotta tell the guy leading you not to cut those corners like that once there was a bike coming the other way he was lucky.

I had a great weekend up there two weeks ago. Stayed at Vinny's so Saturday's rideout at sunrise was 60 north to 74 to TN30 to 315 to Tellico Plains, 360 to Venore, U turn and diced with a VFR1200 back to Tellico, then Cherohala to Robbinsville to 28 to 74 south along the gorge, Old 64 to 129 to Wolf Pen Gap to 60. 305 miles and only had to pass one car all day. I couldn't believe my luck with traffic. I made dinner at Vinny's fabulous cabin then went back up to an overlook on 60 to watch a gorgeous sunset. A day's ride to remember.

Thread title got my attention. I thought it was gonna be about someone riding 151MPH up to the BRP to save a little time...

Is that the road where one of guys hit the HD?
Guy - Yes, and the place the tech told me that the brother/sister went off the mountain and she lay at the bottom screaming for several days before they found her (dead brother and motorcycle were laying on top of her). Not the place to be stupid by any means.
