2 sidewall dots on Avon Spirit ST

I just received a new rear Avon Spirit ST tire and see it has 2 dots on the sidewall, around a quarter-to-third of circumference apart. I have seen yellow dots before indicating the light spot that should be aligned with the valve stem. I have sent Avon an inquiry, and if I receive a reply will post it, but thought I would ask here as well. Anyone seen this and know?

If they were two different colors I could offer an answer but two the same colour is strange. Curious to hear the explanation.

It wil be interesting to hear what Avon say. My guess is the dot on the middle of the sidewall is correct and the one that is partly on the bead section is a mistake or a drip. Having a dot partly obscured when fitting would obviate the point of such a mark in the first place.
