After getting little response after a couple of weeks, I decided to add some context to my listing and to lower the price.
This ST1300 has been the best of all of the 11 bikes I have had over 57 years of riding (including 20 years on an ST1100).
I have owned it for about ten years and have ridden it over 26,000 miles. It runs like a new bike.
During the winters I have worked on different maintenance programs, including valve adjustment,
cooling hose replacement, brake system maintenance, and lighting upgrades.
Within the last 9000 miles, all of the brake pads were replaced, and a new Secondary Master Cylinder was installed,
along with all the brake fluid seals and dust covers on all calipers.
Within the last 3500 miles, the headlight aiming motor was replaced with a new one, and the headlight bulbs were replaced with LED units.
The removable GIVI trunk also has added lighting with braking & turn signals, and an accessory brake & turn signal light bar is mounted below the trunk.
Since I will reach 75 years at next birthday, I am moving to a bike that weighs 200 lb. less to avoid situations that require extreme strength.
