Yes, according to a tweet from MCN Editor Marc Potter.

(although I can no longer find the actual tweet).

RT design with a triple engine and shaft drive? Sounds good. The reason I own an RT over any other sport touring bike is due to the ergonomics. The others have seat heights too low with too much pressure on my knees on any rides longer than 90-100 miles. I am not absolutely sold on the RTs boxer engine, but that bike fit me so much better than any other. It sounds like the RT ergos with a triple engine is right down my alley.

edit: may be a 2012 model

Coolness!

Where do you suppose that photo was taken? Looks like he's on the right side of the road and going counterclockwise (er, anticlockwise) in a roundabout. That doesn't spell UK roads.

Brilliant deduction, Sherlock!

Maybe you can deride some clues as to Coriolis shift as well? It could be a good latitude indicator.

Sincerely,

I saw one reference somewhere that says the photos were taken someplace in Spain, but have no way of confirming that. Can't remember where I found the reference.

Looks good, I have never been one to be brand loyal, have owned varied bikes over the years but for some reason I now lean strongly toward Triumph, my Trophy 1200 has served me well but would like the updated version. I figure a company that has been building bikes for over 900 years must know what their doing.LOL

I am very excited about this bike. I love the Triumph triple, and have enjoyed every one I've ever ridden.

This could potentially be my next bike when I am ready to part with the K13GT.
