A friend of mine asked me to post this here. He is selling his bike with 20k miles. I can vouch for this ride. It is fully loaded and in perfect condition. Graphite color. Asking 7k.

Highlights:
-full electronic package
-Garmin Nav/Mottorad-GPS
-Cruise Control
-water-cooled
-maintained by the dealer per the manual. paperwork to back up

Russell has had 2 lower leg ops (clots) and a back operation in the last 6 months and is no longer able to ride. He rode this bike on a joint tour with me to Montana in 2018.

The 2017 BMW 1200 RT is a great bike. Upright position, all day comfortable, and leans way better than the 1100 or 1300 Hondas. I traded in my 2018 with 48,000 miles and never had failures or issues with it.

He has pics and video. You contact him here. 5657wrc@gmail.com

Well, I got some news for all. I just got an email back from the seller and it is not a 2018 1250RT, but a 2017 1200RT. He asked that the post be corrected.

That is all.

hmmm...how so?

Sounds like a nice bike but since I just upgraded my 1300, I'll just work on better leans! ;)
I put over 100,000 miles on a 1100 and 1300. The RT is more balanced and lighter, and falls into a lean much quicker and tracks steadily. It has dial-in electric suspension for dampening and load. It has a better upright riding position, less heat, and better aerodynamics. Notice how many of the Hondas are heavily modified by riders. You don't have to do any of that stuff on a 2017 RT, it is good to go on day 1. I will say the V4, transmission, and final drive are superior on the Hondas. In terms of pure function and innovation, BMWs are some of the best.

I have had 5 BMW's of different types, and currently own a 2016 R1200GS. They are great machines, but hope that nothing goes wrong, or the Big Money Wasted will kick in quickly. Looks like a great deal for that bike.
