Anyone up for last week in November RTC in Texas / New Mexico? ? :thumb: Looking like the weather should be cooperative for my winter California ride in early December.

Sorry Tom, would love to but since I recently started a new job I won't have enough vacation accrued to do anything. I've only done one ride this year so probably my worst year ever... but, on a high note, the new job should give me more flexibility that the previous one wasn't going to allow.

Next year the Spring GA Rally will be my first one unless we get a Big Bend Bash going in which case that will be my first.

I'll be in Big Bend from Nov' 6th - 13th but we are staying at the Chisos Mountain Lodge up in the Basin.

Keeping in mind this coming year for Big Bend :)
Or Georgia too!

Calendar slide in first post to first week in December, as always for my RTC's: weather and whether dependent.

Looked at weather forecast (mostly sunny 70's/ 40's), took an attendee vote, and moved it up a week. :tent3:

I got back home to Florida yesterday. For those who missed my "Where did you ride today" post: I have to repeat: over all the years I've been doing coast to coast winter rides this year's has been the best weather I can recollect. I love winter desert camping in the SW and Imperial HWY from Ocotillo to Santa Ysabel is perhaps my favorite winter desert ride. For the entire 3 week trip nothing but sunshine and with a few exceptions blue skies. Daytime temps in the comfortable 60-80 range and night time very sleep-able 50-60's. All the Mellows and Toms gave it a :thumb::thumb::thumb:.
