2004 Honda ST1300
I bought this bike when it had 154,000 kms on it and did not know what to think of it with that many kms on it. Now I have put my 60,000 kms and am hoping to get it to 500,000 kms. I don't see any reason why it won't because it still runs like it was new. Does not burn any oil between changes. Just put tires on and regular service type stuff and it just keeps going. I was quite surprised when it hit 199999 it when back to 0. Now I have to keep track of how many times it rolls over:think1:

Yep, that's pretty much the way these STs roll. Many have more than 200k miles, some more than 300k miles and a small few are approaching 500k miles.

I bought my ST1300 in 2009 with 25,000 Km's on it and now it has 162,000 Km's. Still starts and feels like the day I bought it. I drive it daily year round.
Great to hear yours is running well with high Km's.
Morel of the story, stick with Hondas.

It's great to hear your middle-aged ST is going well for you. I was out today. It was warm and brilliantly sunny (We are heading into a sunny and dry Spring here) and the ST ran like a dream. Truly, the machine makes me smile in my helmet!

They are very reliable machines if they are maintained according to the preventative maintenance schedule Honda publishes.

I have over 200,000 km on my 2001 ST 1100 (bought new) and with the exception of a 'red wire' failure, the bike has never let me down. It still runs as well as it did when it was new.

Rocketman in Edmonton has over 300,000 and continues on his long adventures, these bikes are just so reliable. I have one over 160,000 and another just in case I wear it out, not likely.
