Well, I rode yesterday starting cold, and it still wouldn't go above 13V.

Just got an email back from Service Honda... the parts department apparently doesn't know anything about an upgrade kit. :(

Go back to page 1 of this thread and the second post down is a link to Mike Martin's page, on that page click on John's list of parts. All the parts and part numbers are listed for you. You just have to pick between an OEM or aftermarket fuse block. Good Luck!!

I've got a parts list written down... just need to add the fuse block.

Got to sell a couple things, then I'll have the funds. Service Honda was still considerably lower priced than other places.

I'll keep this updated as the saga continues. Right now, I rigged up my battery tender and a power lead for heated gear so that I can plug the bike in to top off the battery as it still fulfills my commuting needs.

My mess of parts came in today! Just have to get a couple tools and supplies locally this weekend, and I'll be good to go for the upgrade on the weekend of the 30th!

I'll try to get pictures and such as I go along, but I tend to go 'wrench warrior' when I get on a project.

I'm considering dropping the exhaust, because I think there's a leak somewhere. I may also drop the oil pan while I'm in there. I've never been one to take the easy way when I get into something...

Good luck on the upgrade. When I did mine....the forums and the folks on it were a wealth of information. My biggest struggle was I didn't have the brake line bracket bent up high enough. Once I realized that, the rest of the upgrade went off without a hitch.

I've read up on the process, and hints... I have a list of the supplies I will need and will have the parts all laid out...

Waiting to hear back from John about the toolkit. I hope it will go smoothly... I want to start adding more farkles and RIDING. (I've been commuting on it, but connecting to the battery tender when at home to be sure the battery is topped up)
