My pump on my front modulator is blowing the fuses. -Fault code 1.
Connected the pump direct to 12v for just a second. The pump did not move at all.
Have got myself a used front abs-modulator, and is going to change the faulty one.
My question; Can i run the pump on the abs-modulator for a short second, with no brakelines and relays connected, just to see the pump is not stuck ? (Thinking of the new pump before i mount it, -and the old one for investigation.)
- I am concerned if i will get air in the modulator, or brakefluid will be pumped out of it when testing the pump.
