The Asp alone is a prohibited weapon and a wobbler offense in CA. And this guy doesn't fall within the exemptions. Not even close. I know people hate "Kalifornia" because that can't walk the street with an M249/M27 and belts. But there have to be some lines.

What is scary about some of these escort folks is that they truly believe they are law enforcement because they play dress up!

While I’ve seen some pretty strange things on motorcycles, seeing a white ST1300P leading a funeral escort, with a mossberg M590 riot gun slung across his back just look beyond absurd and stupid!
The single most overlooked phrase in the Bill Of Rights: "A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State..." If dealers would/could scrutinize buyers the same that the military does for new recruits we might be better off. Yeah, pretty low standards I know, but better than zero.

This single most misinterpreted misunderstood misapplied phrase in the Bill of Rights. Guns ammo and politics. What could possibly go wrong.
But that conversation takes this into an area that Mellow rightly avoids along with politics. Because those discussions devolve into acrimonious opinion based arguments and name calling. They just never end well. Guns ammo and politics. What could possibly go wrong.

Okay, I guess you can get some sort of special training to have the right to defend yourself with non lethal devices in California, lol. I've been there for work a few times, and if you get away from the large cities it is a great place.
