I don't need an intervention...
I need a bigger mug and less questions asked...
Ever take a sip of coffee and immediately realize
it just ain't strong enough to deal with all that B.S. ... :coffee:

G'Day...

slight overcast with comfortable 13°C zis mornin'... 🌤️
the weather guessers claim 27°C high for today though... 🥵

home and office caffeination to keep me going... ☕

getting caught in traffic on her NT last night, ze GF dressed a little oddly in the morning:
a sundress with Capri tights...
thick, long, fleece winter underpants...
thick, long, fleece winter sweater...
garnished with her beige mesh summer stitches as top layer... 🤔

I guess men have it easier when it comes to office fashion... 😎

The shot of system cleaner poured into the ST's tank shows its effect...
Steady idle, noticeable more ohmp at the low end, smooth pull at acceleration...
Even with premium is the crappy fuel clogging the idle jets...

Tuesday... the week is already far too long... :cautious:

G'morning everyone and Happy Cinco de Mayo

Thanks for the coffee, Martin.

It's a pleasant 55°F in Rockville as I enjoy my coffee and watch a replay of one of the weekend's India Premiere League T20 cricket matches. A high of 86 under sunny skies is forecast. Seems like an ideal day for a bicycle ride, either before or after I put the next coat of finish on the furniture project.

It's the neighbor's birthday so we'll have some Front Porch Sittin' action this evening.

Stay safe and well everyone and tell your dear ones you love them. Do it today, NOW, for tomorrow may be too late.

Thx Martin!
I’m a bit bewildered, so it’s really Tuesday, right?

Came home last night.
Drifting snow on the mountain pass, but ok’ish elsewhere.
Did what I was supposed to do in Oslo.
Now some RnR.

4˚c/39f, showers, almost calm, it’s cold!

Have a warm and nice one!
Stu

Goood Morning, and thanks for the coffee start, Martin.

It's 48 and sunny this morning, rising to 79(!), later. A bit windy, though at 10-15mph.
It'll eventually become rainy, overnight, but 79!!

Had a nice visit with the Podiatrist, yesterday. She pulled up the MRI and showed where the tendon should be but isn't. Went on to say that it's been 7 weeks since the damage was done, and it's healing nicely. Boot was removed, and she verified that I had some range of motion, and sent me home with some instructions for the traveling PT that I'll see next week.
Bottom line is that I can walk without the boot, but no running, yet. She says to keep it light at the gym and I can ski, this coming season. We just got an invitation for next year's European trip, and I need to re-up with the local hill, so that's good news.
The foot still feels tender, but I'm walking with NO BOOT!
I'll work up to shifting and holding up the Wing...

Today, I think I'll try to spend some time outside. The lawn needs to be mowed, but Brenda is planning on doing that. Pressing on the brake pedal might be a bit of a stretch, for me right now. Maybe I can help with the push mower or string trimmer.

Enjoy the day,
Steve

Glad you're mending, Steve, and thanks for the Joe, Martin.
I haven't finished my first cup, so history dictates it's semi- dangerous for me show up and try to type anything.
Yet, here I am.
As I relate everything in life to music, I'm reminded of May Chapin Carpenter's lyrics...
"Now some people say that you shouldn't tempt fate
And for them I can not disagree
But I never learned nothing from playing it safe
I say fate should not tempt me
I take my chances
I don't mind working without a net
I take my chances
I take my chances ev'ry chance I get"
One of the many stories of my life. Music is full of them.
It's a good song, by a great artist. It's called, not surprisingly, I Take My Chances. You could have guessed.
So now, I'll go, I guess, ...
And take my chances.
Listen to the song when you have a chance.

Good morning, everyone. Thanks for the start Martin. It’s looking like a great day, except for the expected flooding rains in the forecast. My only plans are deciding which Mexican restaurant to visit for Cinco/Taco Tuesday celebrations.

55/71 and soaking wet and windy. Boo Hoo, I’ll cry in my Dos Equis while munching a taco.

Steve, it’s great to hear that you’re doing better.

Yesterday consisted of potting flowers, followed my mowing, followed by spending some quality time with the dog. Here’s Teddy enjoying our afternoon activities on the deck.

Happy Garbage day, or Tuesday, Thanks Martin for coffee, and the picture of the Hotrod. So woke up at 5:45 and have had Breakfast and took out the Garbage. Now to Drink Coffee #2 Nothing like Yesterday's microwaved for it's waking power. Worked on the Dune buggy last night, taped out the left engine/Transmission bracket thread that's in the chassis,3/4 UNF are a bit more effort than I expected. Today's Agenda get a 3/4 UNF 2 inch long Machine Screw ( bolt), and put it back together. Weather is perfect for taking the bike for today's agenda, 53 F going to 68 F and Sunny, 6 mph winds from ESE . All righty then, time to make it happen, good health Y'all G

Morning Martin & All from sunny, Southern Utah!

Currently it is 51F, up from 37F, and heading for 62F. The winds are already blowing from the SSW @ 8mph. Later we'll see them from the WSW @ 13 to 16mph.

Steve, keep up the healing, but don't over do it!

Chris made is home from her Quilt Retreat, totally wiped out! But she "enjoys it", so it's worth it! :speechless:

I was able to put some garden border edging along the fence, screwing them to the fence, to keep the dirt from escaping. Then dumped a few inches of dirt into the planter.

I still have some gravel to remove from the planter, and then finish filling it with dirt. Then, I might plant something in it. :unsure-2x:

Chris is still crashed, but once she wakes, we'll get some breakfast. And later, a Pepsi or two.

Anyone :dr13:, have a great day on the roads! :hat3:

G'mornin'!

Quick post. Rode in to the office. Weather is great, traffic is not. Coffee is great, job prospect is not. Headed out to play some lunchtime volleyball.

And for anyone that cares, the new MAF sensor in the Av appears to have made an improvement, LTFT numbers are better and should continue as I drive it. Still not sure why it would suddenly go rich, but it hasn't been as bad. Still gonna monitor it, when I'm not riding of course.

Take care y'all!
