Admore LED Givi topbox lighting

It's Boxing Day and I just finished adding the Admore lights to my E52 top box. All the advice here was/is valuable, so I appreciate it. I am not sure why and it doesn't really matter but the 12+ wires were a little different as described in the tread. The easiest way to wire this up is:

To find the proper 12+ wires: take off the rear fender, recognize the wires going into the brake lights? Those are the one you want. Remember the green is the ground.
To find the proper turn signal wires: take off the pillion seat, recognize the wires going into the signal light? With green being the ground, you tap into the other wires.

Turn on the bike and test everything for yourself. Done.

I'll try to post a couple photos once I download them.

Hope this helps anybody. This site has been very helpful to me.

90210brandon, thank you for the information! I'lll be installing a Givi52 this weekend, and would love any additional insight, and/or some pictures?
Thanks in advance!

Here is a photo of the tie-in at the back brake light...This in the harness before it is actually tied-in...

Here is it again but actually tapped into the existing brake light wires (the wires going directly to the bulb)...

Here are the two turn signals tie-in...directly to the wires...left side (looking back from the drivers seat)

right side (looking back from the bike)

Then I just used a bunch of zip-ties to clean things up.
The harness works perfectly.

90210brandon, thank you for the helpful pictures! I think I have the wiring down, now if I can just get the fender off… any tips?

Perfect link! I'm not exactly a mechanic/electrician/man with an overabundance of common sense, but all your info, and that link, helped tremendously! That link also gave some additional ideas on different options for the bike, besides the top case...
Thanks again!

Hello, I'm new to the forum and ST ownership so I hope resurrecting an old thread isn't going to cause problems.
Anyway, I moved my Givi V46 to my '05 ST1300 from my old bike where it worked perfect.
I followed the advice on this thread and things were going well until I took off the rear fender and found a rat's nest of wires. The previous owner left me with the gift pictured. I sorted it out and got the admore lights hooked up but when I turned the key on everything is now dead, 15 minutes ago it was fine. I hooked up my battery tender and the trouble light came on. Things aren't so rosey at this point. Is there a fuse I could've blown? What is that thing the previous owner wired in? It hasn't worked since I got the bike a few weeks ago.
Thanks in advance,
Jeff

The good news is the battery went flat after about 10 minutes with the key in the on position. The bad news is the battery went flat in a very short time.
The battery is now charged and the bike is alive again. Next project is to take off the previous owners "fancy" wiring and put things back to original...
with the exception of my posi-taps.

Not news for the experienced ST crowd. Your headlights will drain an ST battery quickly. You learn once, hope once is enough.
Without I am assuming the PO replaced the standard rear reflector with a 3'rd brakelight. Often use the Whelan LIN3 for this.

Yeah, doesn't take long to kill the battery or enough so it won't start without being charged.

As for the rats nest, that's not as bad as some I've seen.

For anyone interested, here's a couple pic's of how the project turned out.
And thanks for the info on the battery.
