Any sources for an alternator balance shaft?

Alternator is leaking oil on my 93 but still charging, but I read that you're on borrowed time once they start leaking, I have an adaptor plate and sourcing an alternator is easy, but does anyone have or know where I can get the shaft? Id like to get this done since I dont really trust taking the bike on a long trip...

If you know a good machinist, you can pull the shaft from the 28 amper and have teeth cut in the inside of the shaft.
Talk to @andray34 about that as he has had it done recently.
