I've just watched a recording of the 2022 Tour Of Britain, the Hawick to Duns stage. For those that don't know Hawick and Duns are in the Berwickshire area of the Scottish Borders.
What motorsiccle was to be seen on official duties, a ST11, you could have knocked me down with a feather.
It was a red one with just a rider onboard and it had clear indicator covers. I couldn't read what it said on the bike, but it was obviously part of the official entourage.
I don't know if it should have seemed strange, but it did. You just expect to see nearly new Beemers and modern Jap bikes in the mix. I can't think of reading on here before about anyone using a ST11 on escorting/official duties.
