I'm surprised the picture of the spare final drive in my saddle bag at LDDave's December BBQ RTE hasn't shown up on this site yet. I was certain it would.
You had it covered up and put away so fast there wasn't time for a picture!! LOL!!

Then we'd have to post the usual winter pictures of green puddles beneath the STs...

Looks like a good progression for long time ST riders over to BMW ....
Your Honda bias is showing . I currently own 3 ST's (actually have "ST" in the name) and only one of them is a Honda .:bow1:
F800ST, ST1050, and ST1300 . For my purposes and enjoyment I rank the Honda in the top 3 .
..but the eye-ties must have dyslexia - the MTS was supposed to be called MST ........Multi-Sport Tourer makes more sense than Many Roads :bow1:The heck with them........the Ducati is cycle porn!!
I love the look of BMW and the way everything fits together so well but until their quality control issues come under control and they fix the BIG Problems no BMW will reside again in my garage.
I am looking at adding another new bike.. Looks like a 2010 new ST1300
Redeye, your sig states that you owned a Varadero? Would you care to compare it to the GS please?
Jeff
Charlie and Redeye,,,have my eye on a 2004 R1150RT, only 10K miles on it. Want are your guys thoughts on this model?
Skip it for a 2005 model or later. A much better bike.
