Are we still able to get OEM parts from Honda?

My ST (2006 ABS) has been in storage. I left gas in it too long. I'm trying to decide whether to sell if, or bring it back and ride it.

Have you had problem with parts being no longer available from Honda? I learned about the CTX1300 which replaced the ST in 2013 and supposedly uses the same engine, are the engine parts the same?

Mine is very low mileage and I love it, but I don't want to be in a position where I can't maintain or repair it because parts I need are no longer available.

I've not had an issue with OEM parts, but then again, I've not had to replace "some" parts that are difficult to obtain.

You should have few problems obtaining OEM Honda parts for the ST13.

Yes I just talked to them. Seems most stuff is available. Rangers in Tucson said they have a policeman in Tucson with a 2018 ST police bike to Honda is still making parts. Seems most stuff is still available, unlike my 2003 VTX 1800R.

I have a big parts order in at https://www.ronayers.com/ A water hose under the throttle bodies was a backorder and the rebuild kit for the rear master cylinder has not come in yet. Maybe if @Igofar wasn't so busy I would have my parts by now. Lol

Check out Dillon Brothers in Omaha. When you look at the partsfish, if an item doesn't list a price, it's not available. I was looking for a "not available" part. I contacted David Silver's Spares here in the US. They were able to get me one from Europe with a bit of a premium in the price.

If you're looking for plastic body parts, a newer year may have them available but they will need to be painted to the correct color. Before painting them ask if anyone has the correct color and will swap with you.
