Bagster Tank Bag with Heli-Bars on ST1100?

I had a Bagster Alpha bag and bra combo on my last 2 ST1100s and liked it very much, but I let it go with my last bike planning on getting a color matched set for my new bike. My current ST1100 is a red 96 ABS and it had Heli-Bars on when I bought it and I like them. I was thinking of getting a tankbag for next year and it seems to me that the Heli-Bars being slightly more rearward than stock, that it might interfere with the Bagster Medea tank bag.

Anyone out there running a Bagster bag with Heli-Bars? Any troubles?

Hello , your Bagster you had was it leather or are they vinyl? I was thinking of getting one for my ST1100

It was black vinyl. It was a very nice bag/bra combo. I liked it enough, I am considering buying another one. Worked great with the stock bars, I am just curious how it would work with the Heli-Bars I have on this ST1100.

the Bagster works with Heli-Bars but parking lot turns to the right does cause an occaisional problem. I had that set-up for 60,000 miles on my '95 and just learned to deal with it.
