Battery removal

Hello all,

I'm having a hell of a time removing the battery. I have never seen so much going on? Anybody have any pictures or blow by blow? I swear the thing won't come out. Thank you in advance.

P bikes are different than a regular 1300. That said, removing my battery is a multi step operation. Remove the side cover, seat, and then disconnect the battery. I'm not sure right now if I also removed the rear top fairing piece. After clearing the wires from the battery, the fuse atop the battery strap comes loose, then a bolt at the back of the hold down strap.
Pull that forward, then I can lift out the battery.

Police bikes have a bigger, more powerful battery and your bike might have an aftermarket battery and/or mods to the batt compartment.
