92, Bike has the red wire bypass, I put a fuse on both red wires going to the starter solenoid cause the spades in the connector were a bit green, all the red wire bypass stuff I see only shows one wire being bypassed but I did both so I am not sure if thats my issue but I dont think so, Right now if the bike is running and I remove the fuse from my bypass, essentialsy the same as removing the 30A fuse on an unmodified bike, the bike will stay running, just stop charging. If the bike is off and the fuse is out, there is no power at all, to anything. I still have the 28 ap alternator, is it possible that the alternator is backfeeding the ignition switch somehow? I feel like if the bike is running and you remove the main fuse, it should die. but ti doesnt, It would just keep going until the battery dies from it not being charged. Kind of stumped on this one unless all STs are this way.
