I was doing my usual 5 point parking to get my ST parallel to my front garage wall (usual parking spot)
when I just misjudged and as I leaned over too much for me to hold her from going down.
No damage, just my ego. My wife and I could not right it, but a neighbor and I got her up.
I've seen these Moto Jack adds by motobikejack.com for years in the mc mags. I'm thinking maybe its time to get one.
Searching st-owners I see little info about Moto Jack. I would appreciate your opinion of them, especially if you have one.
Will it fit in the ST side cases ?

Can't help you with the jack thing, but.....

You Tube has videos on lifting a heavy bike. One I remember is a small (95lb.) women lifting a Goldwing or a big Harley. I had to stand my 1100 up a couple weeks ago when I was rear ended at a stop light. All ended up well.

Agreed ... there's a well known technique to pick up a bike "backing up to it and lifting" ... you do NOT face the bike, lean over, and try to man lift it. ... quite a few videos on this

While unloading this bike, which needed some rehab, I dropped it due to no brakes and I "had to lay it down" - :rofl1:

Anyway, note the handle bar on the low side is closer to the tank, I tried to pick it up and could not so I went in the house and had lunch. When I came back out to the garage I turned the handle bars to the left or away from the tank so I would have more leverage and was able to lift the bike up on the first go. Turning the bars out so I had more leverage made all the difference for me.

The technique is what makes the difference.
I got to be acquainted with picking up this 1300 2 or 3 days after I brought it home.
Was practicing slow tight turns in the office parking lot.
No problem getting it upright, but I ordered the adapter plates and rear guards immediately after. Surprised me that the only scratches were on the black plastic engine guard, and a tiny slight scratch on the same-side muffler, underneath where it can't be seen. The mirror never even touched the ground.
I've had lots of practice, though, picking up tall, heavy dual sports in the dirt. And I'll soon be doing it again with the BMW 1250.
Be sure the bike is in gear, preferably first, when lifting.
At 6ft, 150lbs, I'm no Charles Atlas (Arnold Schwarzenegger for you youngsters), but I can still bend at the knees.
Dropping these bikes, still, is better avoided whenever possible.

Yeah, at 80.. it's amazing you're dealing with the ST being as heavy-feeling as it is.. my Wings never felt as heavy at slow speeds and when I did tip them over, the angle was better for getting them righted.

I dropped the Tracer once and that thing just about falls flat so even though it's a lot lighter it was tough to pick up in the muddy driveway I dropped it.

I was moving mine around the garage from the right side and didn't realise the side stand had dragged and folded up............ Yes, it lays just about flat on the floor and the L pannier lid got scratched. I have Givi engine guards, so no other damage. Those wings on the ST100 were really nice to have.

Looking at https://www.motobikejack.com/

I'm not sure where you would attach it on the ST... center stand maybe? Looks interesting though.

In the videos it does show it should fit inside a saddlebag.
