2006 and 2013. ST1300Ok so which bikes have you enjoyed enough that you bought at least 2 of?
I've had
3 Harley FLH's 49, 56 and 57
2 Harley XLCH's 59 and 94
3 Yamaha XS 650's 73, 79, 81
2 Suzuki GT 750's 74 and 76
2 Yamaha FZ-1's 01 and 04
2 Yamaha YPV 400's 06 and 08
2 Honda CB 750's 76 and 00
2 Honda CB 1100's 13 and 14
and if I buy another NC 750X (which is my plan for my "last bike"), I'll have had 2 Honda NC 750X's 21 and 25? or 26?
I totaled my 2006 and it took me 5 months to find the 2013. In the process I looked at a Goldwing and a K1600GTL. Goldwing you can't remove the bags or top box, THE K1600, too expensive. It's IS interesting that we buy a bike, for some reason sell it, then decide with so many great bikes out there to buy another just like the one we had and sold. I find it fascinating.
when did you have time to ride them all?Nine Kawasaki KLR650s over a 25 year span
Three Honda ST1300s
Three Honda CR125s
Three Honda CR250s
Three Honda CB750Fs
Six Yamaha Super Teneres
Two BMW GS/A
Three Suzuki DR350s
Four Suzuki TS125s
Two Harley Road Kings
Two Harley Electra Glides
Two Honda CX500s
Two Yamaha RZ350s
That’s crazy talk!Man, I have to catch up…with the current 3 I have (4 if the ST1300 in Colorado is included), I’ve only owned a total of 5 (or 6) bikes in 36 years of riding. I basically buy and hold.
You're another re-cycler also?ST1100s.
92, sold because I couldn’t afford to keep it, immediately found a cheap 94 that I fixed as money came in. What’s that? Redneck payment plan?
Then later after a life adjustment (see below) a 2001ABS.
Then a 1995 basket case that I put together for fun.
