He Guys,

I am here because I am a very enthousiastic ST1300 owner and rider. You might even know me from a review on Youtube I did on the ST1300 which had quite a few views in one year time... I was really looking and searching how to do the bludash conversion and noticed that nobody really explained how to do it in detail. Therefore I took on the gloves, ordered a used dash on E-bay and tried it myself. After succes, I dared to grab hold of my real dash and converted the ugly yellow/orange lights to all white. And, to share the knowledge and help others to do it theirself I made an instruction video of it.

I hope I have been of a help for anyone always wanted to do the conversion theirself!

Welcome from TX. I skimmed through the video... looks good, and not as difficult as I had imagined.
 
I just watched the video and I know that @Chiefpep has produced the definitive video on this procedure. Well done Chiefpep!

For those uneasy with the needle calibration described by Chiefpep in the video, here are links to @SupraSabre 's ST1300 speedo repair where he shows how to perform the method were you lift the needles over the stop pins and mark where they rest in a static mode. I did this during the instrument extraction before I sent mine off to Bluegauges.com to perform the upgrade.
