Good morning everyone

The French roast is ready for you. Are you ready for it?

I've been awake since 0200, out of bed since 0245. Ugh. Stupid mind hamsters.

Anyhow... it's 25°F in Rockville and partly cloudy. A high of 44 is expected with clouds gathering through the morning then dispersing in the afternoon. [EDIT: this just in: the daytime highs here don't drop below freezing for at least the next ten days. Woot! Overnight lows still do but at least the days are less frigid. That's worth noting.]

I think I'll make a run to Lowes today to pick up the materials needed for my latest shop project brainchild. In previous posts I believe I described the concept: a mobile cart to store tools that currently reside on, and clutter up, one end of the shop floor making it all but impassable and inaccessible. I could almost certainly find something suitable and buy it for far less than what this will cost me but where's the enjoyment in that?

Stay safe and well everyone and tell your dear ones you love them. Do it today, NOW, for tomorrow may be too late.

Good morning all!
Here’s a pot of dark roast Maxwell House, brewed right here on the banks of the Caloosahatchee River. I’ll see if I can scrounge up some muffins for a little substance to help you survive until breakfast.
Presently 48F/9C it’s still dark, so I can’t see what kind of day is in store!
Enjoy your day

Thanks for the FR this morning Keith. I'll need a slug or two to get going. (Did you know you were only 2 minutes ahead of Brian?)

14F and partly cloudy with the occasional light wind gust. More sun should peek out as the the day progresses and the temperature hits 32F for a short moment. About dusk the snow will start and continue until early tomorrow morning. "They" are still saying 1-3 inches so I am expecting at least 6!!!

In a couple hours I'll head to the fish and game club for the weekly maintenance run and coffee clatch. On the way home I'll grab some more sand for the ice sheet I call my driveway and then prep for more indoor tasks.

Be safe, be careful and remember - we are getting more minutes of sunlight every day!

Scott

Morning all, and thanks to out hosts Keith & Brian for getting us up and going.

-12/-21 here and still dark, headed to -3/-7 and sun.

I too have been up since 2am, which is 1am Keith's time. I should be a fine mess come 10pm tonight...

Hope everyone has a good day and doesn't yawn too many times today.

Obo.

Good morning, and thanks for the coffee, Keith and Brian.

It's 14f/-10c under partly cloudy skies this morning. The temp will rise to 36f/2c later, and we're told to expect some snow showers this afternoon and tonight.

We had a great time with our grandkids and son, yesterday. our granddaughter played with the toys we have, and "read" some of the books as well. It turns out, we've got books on birds and airplanes, but no motorcycles. Our grandson is still crawling, but walks while holding onto our fingers, so he got the tour of the house.
After they left, we went to Mexican for dinner. On the way back, I had a slip and fall on my front walkway, but fortunately, I landed in the snow on the side of the walk, so no damage was done.

I've got no real plans for today, other than a gym visit. Maybe a dog walk as well.

Enjoy the day,
Steve

Sounds like Keith needs to hire a reputable exterminator, but at least he's has the coffee ready today. So thanks for that.
If I go of the trails or make copious spelling errors, it's because I've only had one- half cup, but I'm working on it.
There's fog, must, clouds and more fog this morning, and they backed off their guess from a high of 75, to only 73.
Oh, wah.
I broke a tooth some days ago, and it's not repairing itself, and all the tools I have don't fit in my mouth. It has been a random pain level of 2 out of 10, annoying but not debilitating, but now it's become a steady 3, telling me the sand is slipping through the hourglass, and will escalate to a raging 10 before a lot more time passes.
I'll make a call today.
We should finish up our work project today, it has been interminably tedious.
Toss out the tedium, and throw yourselves a terrifical Tuesday.
"Tedium is the bane of immortality."

Good morning, all. Thank you much for the coffee, Keith, and I'll gladly partake in one of those muffins, Brian.

It has warmed up a little and it seems it will get even warmer over the next few days, but not before we get a wallop of snow. I'm supposed to meet some old friends who are in town from Ontario for brunch tomorrow, so I'll be paying attention to what things look like tomorrow morning. If we get as much white stuff as they say we're getting, driving conditions will be pretty bad and there may not be easy (or even possible) to park anywhere near the restaurant, as it's on a side street that may well be snowed in. Hmm. There may have to be a Plan B of some kind.

As for today, we currently have heavily overcast skies (the snow is supposed to start falling within the next 3 hours), and a liveable - dare I say it, almost pleasant - temperature range of -11°C/12°F to -6°C/21°F with windchills ranging from -15°C/5°F to -12°C/10°F.

OK, gotta get the day rolling. Everybody have a good one, stay safe and go safely.

Patty

Tuesday... Monday's ugly sister... o_O
My coffee wore off mid email,

G'Day...

3°/6°C, overcast and gray...

over here I am the one in the hamster wheel... 🐹
busy with quite complex VRF layouts for an administrative building...
to make things worse has the design program some weird bug, and randomly mixes up the carefully entered room surface/volumes between the systems... pfffff... :cautious:
By this gas detector and shut off valve kit* selection/placement is fully screwed up, so delete all, and start from the scratch with only one a/c system per project file...
That did the trick but tripled the time required...
(* room volume vs total refrigerant charge, max of 0.440 kg/m³ permitted...)

anyhoo, have a good one!

Good Morning Y'all, Thanks Keith and Brian, Coffee and Muffins are required this morning. Tuesday you say, means Garbage day for me, done and Breakfast done. Sun is up,41 F/ 5 C high 51 F/ 11 C. Partly Cloudy Clearing to Sunny this afternoon. Hopefully I can get a ride in today. Slept good last night, washed my bedding, the dog and myself so we had a good night's rest. Okay, have a Wonderful day, G

Morning all! Sunny and blue sky today, made for a nice ride in. Currently 6C with a predicted high of 10C.

I was also visited by cranium rodents, though in my case they held off until 4 am. I managed to get about 5 hours of sleep. That's enough right? Putting the stapler in the office fridge was just absent mindedness.....

Hope everyone has a great day!

Late Morning Keith & All from overcast Southern Utah!

Currently it is 40F, up from 29F and heading for 54F. The winds are already in motion, from the SW @ 1 to 6mph. Later, they will be out of the SSW @ 25 to 31mph. They keep telling us we *might* get some rain or snow over the next couple of days. Sure, like always, I'll believe it when I see it! :well1:

A guy up in BC put out a distress for a alternator, so I answered with one of mine. WOW, did they hit him up for taxes! :censored:

I need to head out now and drop off the package to the USPS.

Cold cereal for breakfast. Pepsi(s) when I get back.

Anyone :bl13:, have a great day on the roads! :hat3:
